Have a look at the beautiful markings on this juvenile Eastern brown snake that was relocated from Cessnock this afternoon.
A lot of the juveniles in this species have different types of markings on them. Some have stripes, some don’t, some of them lose their stripes as they get older and some don’t.
Whatever the markings, they are a beautiful species.
Do not be mistaken, they are still very dangerous at this age and size, please leave relocating them to trained snake handlers.
