This morning, our squad had the pleasure of meeting up with some of the team from the Commonwealth Bank Cessnock Branch.
Trent, Steph, Meg, Cheryl and Kristie came to present our squad with a $500 donation through their community grants programme.
Whilst there, we explained what our core roles are in the community, as well as demonstrating some of our equipment.
This donation will be used to further enhance our smaller battery tool system, which will incorporate battery operated chainsaws.
We require petrol operated saws for larger instances, but there are situations where battery operated tool are more suited, such as where noise may be distressing to the casualty, or if urgent action is needed.
We would like to thank the Commonwealth Bank for their kind donation, the donation was accepted on the squad’s behalf by Mandy and James.
