The Annual General Meeting for Cessnock District Rescue Squad was held last night. It was great to see a large number of members attend.
We were pleasured with the company of the V.R.A. Deputy Commissioner Stuart Davies, as well as Data and Logistics Coordinator Lewis Perez-Mora, we would like to thank them for allocating their time visiting our squad and attending the meeting. They gave us an insight into what direction the V.R.A. is heading and new things on the horizon during their visit.
We also had two of our life members present at the meeting, they were Kerry Milgate and Stuart Matthews.
All positions within the squad became vacant, and the following persons we appointed the relative positions.
President – Doug Styles
Vice President – James Harris
Captain – Trevor Milgate
Deputy Captain – Chris Madgwick
Treasurer – Mandy Madgwick
Assistant Treasurer – Tiffany McMillan
Secretary- Krystal Holland
Assistant Secretary – Ambalee Goodsir
Management Committee Members – Chris Madgwick, Robbie Gilmour and Vicki West.
Equipment Officers – Kile Nicholas and Conner Garred.
We would like to say a special thank you to Bill Calderwood, who stood down last night as volunteering to collect our donation money boxes around the Cessnock area. Bill has been doing this for the past 20 years and we would like to thank him for his efforts over this time.
For those who did not decide to run for a position, or to those who were unsuccessful in getting a position, your worth is no less than any other member. We are all equal in our team, and we would not be a complete team without you as part of it.
We look forward to another year of providing our life saving service to the community, well done to all of you.
