Major impact following motor vehicle collision at Mulbring.

At 2340 last night our squad was activated to a persons trapped motor vehicle collision on Leggetts Drive.
Arriving on scene it was confirmed that one person remained trapped by confinement inside the utility that had come to rest on its side and suffered significant damage.
The vehicle was stabilised and then working in conjunction with NSW Ambulance, the operators set about freeing the occupant.
Using hydraulic rescue tools, a roof fold was performed to allow access to the casualty and also to create an extrication route.
The person was removed from the vehicle and after further assessment by medical personnel, the decision was made to transport them by road instead of using the rescue helicopter that was on standby.
Well done to all involved.
