Today CDRS were activated to a persons trapped accident on Colliery Street at Aberdare.
Arriving on scene the volunteers could see the aftermath of a two vehicle collision with one of those being a van with persons still inside.
Once the vehicle was stabilised using our stabfast equipment, our team set about assisting the other services with removing the occupants from the vehicle. Some of them had managed to get themselves out of the vehicle prior to our arrival through the windscreen and rear door , while others needed assistance.
Another successful team effort by all involved.
