Last night saw our squad hold its AGM.
This is where all positions become vacant and open for election.
We are happy to announce the following successful candidates were elected for the positions below.
President – Jason Sattler
Vice President – Trevor Milgate
Treasurer – Steve Wile
Secretary – Tracey Casini
Captain – Paul Hampton
Senior Deputy Captain – Gavin Townley
Deputy Captain – Peter Jarvie
Training Officer – Ross Myall
Equipment Officer – Chris Madgwick
We would like to congratulate all of the above for their successful allocations.
We also had a number of other presentations made, this being to Ron, Kara , Ross and Liz (absent) who received their rescue epaulettes as part of passing their final qualification assessments.
Also during the evening , we had 2 life memberships awarded to the following recipients.
Kile Nicholas – 10 year service to our squad, Kile is also the Region Operations Manager ( East) for VRA Rescue NSW. His daughter has also recently joined to become an operator as well.
Mandy Madgwick – 15 years service as a support member of our squad, Mandy was also our treasurer for a number of years and has been connected to the squad for a long time.
The families of both recipients were invited to come for the special occasion, as we have always said, our operators are out there in the field doing what we do, but the families behind us are just as involved and a part of the squad and for that we thank them.
We would like to thank everyone who made the effort to attend the meeting, including a number of life members. We hope life members and previous members can see the growth and progression the squad has achieved. We thank you for your efforts, these laid the foundations of what the squad has now become.
