Rollover on Buchanan Road

At 1826 Sunday evening our squad was activated to a persons trapped motor vehicle collision on Buchanan Road at Buchanan.
Arriving on scene we could see the rescue helicopter coming in to land near the incident.
A single vehicle, with two occupants on board had left the roadway and came to rest a fair distance from the road suffering significant damage.
Getting a sitrep from the paramedics treating the persons, they asked for 2 stokes litters to be at the ready to transfer the casualties from the location of the car, up to the roadway.
With plenty of operators on scene, we promptly had the equipment ready to go as well as setting up portable lighting and once the medical team were happy for the casualties to be moved, they were both placed and secured in stokes litters and transported up to the roadway.
They were both taken to hospital to be further assessed and treated.
All emergency services on scene assisted with the movement of the casualties , it was a great team effort by everyone.
Some operators remained on scene to provide lighting for investigations to take place.
