Car vs power pole at Pokolbin

At 2041 we were activated to a persons trapped motor vehicle collision at Pokolbin.
Arriving on scene it was confirmed a woman remained in a vehicle, trapped by injury after a single vehicle collision with a power pole.
Our team rendered first aid to the woman until the medical personnel arrived. Due to the uncertainty of her injuries the Westpac Rescue Helicopter was also activated.
Our operators assisted with manoeuvring the patient onto a spine board to where she could then be removed from the vicinity of the car to a more suitable location to be further assessed.
The woman suffered significant injuries and was taken by road ambulance to hospital.
