Pedens Hotel in Vincent Street Cessnock is offering $100 vouchers for the next ten businesses that elect to become Business Sponsors of the Cessnock District Rescue Squad. As stated in previous articles the Business Sponsorship scheme was established to give local businesses the opportunity to support the local Volunteer Rescue Squad. Following a recent advertising campaign to increase the number of sponsors, five businesses come on board taking the total number of current sponsors to twenty six.
Pedens Hotel has recently taken up sponsorship and upon having the benefits of the scheme explained to him, Pedens owner Mr Jeffrey Callaghan could not believe that more business were not involved. In an effort to attract more businesses Mr Callaghan made the offer of a $100 voucher to the next ten businesses who become sponsors.
“The vouchers are redeemable anytime between 1st June and 31st August at Pedens Hotel bistro or bar and are over and above the existing benefits of the Business Sponsorship scheme” said Rescue Squad PR Officer Jason Sattler. “Other benefits include quarterly advertising in The Advertiser, tax deductible receipts for all payments, yearly certificates and most importantly the knowledge that you are helping to save lives” Mr Sattler stated.
The Cessnock District Rescue Squad extends its sincere appreciation to Mr Callaghan for this wonderful show of support and strongly encourages local businesses to take up the offer. Mr Sattler can be contacted for more detail by email – jsattler@ambulance.nsw.gov.au, or phone – 0458 039 588.
