Over the weekend our squad celebrated its 50th Anniversary.
What an amazing night of looking back over the history of how and where it all began.
We were honoured to have the presence of VRA Rescue NSW Commissioner, Brenton Charlton, VRA Rescue NSW Deputy Commissioner, Alix Thom, Daniel Watton – Mayor of Cessnock,Mike Newman Quintin KING current members, previous members, life members and foundation members.
We would like to thank all who assisted with making this night possible, it was an amazing night. Thank you to those who attended in support of our celebration including the families of our members.
During the evening some awards were presented for various achievements including long service, premiers citations and a plaque for the squad as a celebration of this 50 year milestone.
We can’t wait to see what the next 50 years has install for us.
