The Hunter Valley chapter of the Gladiators Motorcycle Club recently donated $500 to the Cessnock District Rescue Squad. Two life members of the club presented the cheque to Rescue Personnel at the Cessnock Base on Saturday 12th.
The Gladiators Motorcycle Club raise money every year through their involvement with the Maitland Bike and Hotrod show then distribute these funds to various organisations and charities throughout the Hunter Valley and Newcastle area.
“Over the years we have donated funds to the Cessnock District Rescue Squad, Ronald McDonald House, Palliative Care facilities and many other organisations, along with purchasing equipment for various hospitals” the club members stated.
The members of the Cessnock District Rescue Squad would again like to express their sincere appreciation to the Hunter Valley chapter of the Gladiators Motorcycle Club for this wonderful donation.
